Our Bothwell Castle Ladies Love to Lunch
August has been a wonderfully busy month, from visiting outdoor spaces such as Strathchclyde Park and Chatelherault Country Park to welcoming live entertainment and having afternoons baking and decorating.
We also arranged a few tasty treats for our ladies at Bothwell Castle who love to lunch. Most recently residents visited the Tea House on Loch in Gartcosh for a mouth-watering lunch and spectacularly beautiful views of the Lanarkshire Loch. The ladies sat and ate sandwiches and scones, whilst putting the world to rights.
We have also visited Redstones in Uddingston this month where we enjoyed a delicious meal. This hotel offers overnight stays as well as restaurant bookings, where guests can enjoy home-cooked food that has been recognised at a national level at the Italian Awards 2016.
We thoroughly enjoy taking our residents into the local community of Bothwell and exploring the area. We believe in the importance of socialising and allowing our residents to continue doing the thing they love in their daily lives.
Our enthusiastic Activities Coordinators regularly host a number of activities and events for our residents to partake in. Activities are varied and are designed to encourage independence, increase motivation and provide all residents with a rich and fulfilled lifestyle that is suited entirely to them.
When our residents aren't enjoying delicious dining experiences outside of the home, our talented chef regularly puts together Afternoon Teas fit for royalty.
Events such as Afternoon Tea provides a great opportunity for residents to interact with one another while establishing and growing new relationships within their community. A fun and active lifestyle help to ensure residents are happy, engaged, and mobile.
