Appropriately named after the nearby historic attraction of Bothwell Castle, our home is nestled in a residential area between Uddingston and Bothwell, right on the outskirts of Glasgow. We are located in a prominent position where residents can look forward to attending trips into the local community with access to local amenities such as supermarkets, eateries, and transport links just a short drive from our home. The area around our home is steeped in history. With other tourist attractions such as Glasgow Cathedral and The Riverside Museum of Transport and Travel just over a 20-minute drive away, it is the perfect place for those who are keen to learn about the rich culture and past of Glasgow.

Our care home is located 25 minutes away from Glasgow City Centre, and whilst residents have access to our homes minibus and private car for both group outings and personal errands, we have excellent public transport links nearby for visiting loved ones. The charming town of Glasgow offers an array of things to see and do for all ages and interests. For leisurely days out, the Glasgow Botanic Gardens offers the chance to admire exotic flowers, walk the expansive grounds, and enjoy a bite to eat by the river. We understand that the process of searching for a care home in Glasgow can be daunting. Prior to moving into our home, we welcome prospective residents and loved ones to join our Home Manager for our tour, to help answer any questions and offer professional advice on what we believe is the best path for them.

Once a resident joins us at Bothwell Castle Care Home, we continue to develop that relationship with them and their family by providing consistent updates and welcoming them to join in any activities or events at the home. Tailored care plans are created for each resident, taking into consideration their individual medical requirements as well as their emotional and social needs. We aim to provide only the highest standards of care and are proud to be regulated by the Care Inspectorate, an independent body that inspects and rates Scottish care homes.
