Resident Dancing with Tribute Act

Residents Enjoy Elvis Tribute Act

The residents at Bothwell Castle Care Home were looking out for their ‘Blue Suede Shoes’ as an Elvis Tribute Act visited the care home for an afternoon of music! Some of the residents chose to stay seated, sitting back and enjoying the music and some decided to get up and dance with The King of Rock and Roll!

This was a fantastic opportunity for the residents to spend time with one another whilst building and developing new relationships within the home. Ensuring our residents stay stimulated and active is an important part of maintaining a fit and healthy lifestyle.

Our devoted activities coordinators at Bothwell Castle regularly provide a number of engaging activities and events for our residents to partake in that are designed to encourage the independence levels within our home.

Often our activities are hosted within our care home by making use of the many wonderful facilities we have to offer as well as taking our residents into the local community into the local area of Bothwell and exploring the beautiful area.

Whether our residents are enjoying a relaxing afternoon in our Hair Salon & Beauty Room, reminiscing with a much-loved movie in our Cinema, taking a leisurely stroll in our Private Gardens or taking part in our arts and crafts scheme, there is something for each and every one of our residents.
