2021 So Far

When we reach the summer, we like to take a moment and reflect upon the year so far. The past six months have been filled with the most wonderful activities, all designed to help create wonderful memories for all of our residents and their loved ones. 

As the Covid-19 restrictions were lifted, we were able to start enjoying group work and inviting entertainment to our home once again. 

Events Enjoyed By Residents

This Fathers Day, we celebrated all of the wonderful men residing with us and treated them to socks and chocolates, to thank them for ‘working their socks off’ and for ‘being worth a mint’. 

Residents have been working hard to keep our gardens looking as beautiful as ever. On dry, warm days, all residents have had the opportunity to care for a variety of plants recently potted and take time to enjoy a peaceful hour or two.

Exercise Sessions have also been enjoyed by our residents; sessions were quickly booked up by those who were looking to not only enjoy the benefits of gentle chair based exercise, but also enjoy the social side to these fortnightly classes.

Bothwell Castle Care Home were excited to host a Casino Themed event at the home, where residents were able to take a chance on the roulette table and show off their betting skills and luck.

What’s To Come

Our Activity Coordinators have lots of amazing activities and events planned for the rest of the year and we really do hope that everyone joins in with us. We look forward to sharing the next batch of memories we make over the coming months.
