Ukelele group at Bothwell Castle

Entertainment is Back in Full Swing

We are so pleased to be able to welcome entertainment back into our home at Bothwell Castle. A Ukelele group visited us for the afternoon and played a variety of familiar songs for our residents, who thoroughly enjoyed the music and couldn't help but move their bodies to the beat.

The ukelele players are a niche group of retired volunteers who frequently visit care homes in the local area, and have lots of fun entertaining residents. This marks the start of being able to regularly host entertainment at our home once more as restrictions ease.

We love to see our residents engaged by visiting performers and we believe it's important to provide a variety of activities and entertainment for our residents to enjoy. Our Activity Coordinators can't wait to incorporate regular entertainment back into our weekly activities schedule.

If you are interested in learning more about the activities we provide at Bothwell Castle, do not hesitate to get in touch with our helpful team who will be happy to answer your questions or assist in organising a home visit.
