The Old Firm Game Lunch

Residents Enjoying Game Lunch

The residents at Bothwell Castle Care Home enjoyed watching and celebrating the Old Firm Football Game in March. The Old Firm is a name for the Scottish Football clubs Celtic and Rangers which are based in Glasgow. Many of our residents enjoy participating in various activities of which a popular is gathering together in our communal lounge spaces to watch sports.

Gathering our residents together that share similar interesters is a fantastic way for our residents to maintain and create new bonds within our care home. Encouraging our residents to maintain a social life at Bothwell Castle Care Home increases the independence of each individual, the confidence, and ensures our residents stay stimulated.

Our activities coordinators create a tailored Activities Programme relevant to our resident's interests and hobbies. Having our residents continue their much-loved hobbies in our care home ensures that each and everyone maintains a fulfilled and happy lifestyle.

Not only do we encourage our residents to continue doing what they love most, but we also offer a wide range of modern facilities alongside our extensive activities programme to allow our residents to explore new skills and interests.

Our care home welcomes the opportunity for our residents to utilise our many facilities which often include taking a leisurely stroll in our Private & Secure Gardens, making use of our Modern Cinema Room, arts and craft sessions or being pampered in our Hair Salon

If you would like more information regarding our extensive activities programme, then please feel free to get in touch and we will be more than happy to help.
